✅ Remediation
For OpenShift Container Platform 4.20 see the following documentation, which will be updated shortly for this release, for important instructions on how to upgrade your cluster and fully apply this asynchronous errata update: https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/openshift_container_platform/4.20/html/release_notes/ Workaround: Restrict access to users who can create or modify container workloads through appropriate RBAC permissions, apply security controls such as Security Context Constraints (SCCs) to limit privilege escalation, and enforce policies to run containers with reduced privileges (for example, as non-root) to reduce the impact of potential exploitation. Enable SELinux on affected nodes and consider admission controls to prevent potentially unsafe workload configurations. Workaround: Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
