SolidInvoice is an open-source invoicing platform. Prior to version 3.0.1, the REST API authenticator accepts bearer tokens via a ?token= URL query parameter as a fallback to the X-API-TOKEN header. This causes long-lived API credentials to be recorded in server access logs, proxy logs, browser history, and HTTP Referer headers sent to third-party origins. Version 3.0.1 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-61614
This medium-severity CVE scores 5.9 under a secondary CVSS source (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit probability: 0.3%, top 79% of all CVEs by exploit prediction. GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).
- Lower severity and no public exploit yet
No vendor fix yet — apply a workaround or compensating control (WAF / firewall / segmentation) and watch for a patch.
